This includes an initial call to understand your plans; help completing provider and registered manager applications; writing your statement of purpose; support with a business plan and staff training matrix; and preparation for CQC registration interviews.

A separate service, charged at £150 plus VAT unless bought as part of the £2,100 plus VAT Full Registration Package. After CQC arrange your interview, we provide around two hours of focused preparation by phone or video, followed by a report outlining the answers you should be ready to give.
Please note: We only support applications from candidates who have a registered manager with experience in social care, along with current competence and qualifications for each of the client groups you want to be regulated for.

From idea to submission
The Steps For Successful CQC Registration
- 1
Find a suitable Registered Manager
They need experience with each service user type you intend to support.

Apply for a DBS check
You will need the disclosure number on your application forms.

Get your website built and published
Include contact information, your services and an about page, with reliable hosting.

Complete your Business Plan and register with the ICO
Set out a credible plan for the service and complete your data protection registration.

Register for the CQC portal
Select “Register as new provider” to begin your application.

Prepare supporting documents
Arrange financial viability confirmation from an FCA-regulated person, an insurance quote, ICO registration and policies.

Complete the application
Complete the Registered Manager and Provider applications and your Statement of Purpose.

Submit
Use a final checklist and make sure every supporting document is included.
Your application will be returned if any of these supporting documents are missing.
